THE RING

Embedded into the dense Amsterdam canal fabric with the DNA of art, the site offers a unique opportunity to engage the public with art as well as add on a gathering node for Amsterdam’s sparse public spaces. Instead of a straitforward bridge, the undulated ring creates a centrifugal place with the elegant backdrop of Hermitage Museum and Six Museum. Weaved by exhibitions, public gatherings and seasonal landscape, the ring fosters a rich journey of passing through,  looking at, experiencing and interacting with the art and people.
